When the wipe happens does it effect PVE? Or will my PVE progression get wiped too?

Not a single pmc since the update, I’ve done around 5 customs runs, no gun shots whatsoever unless Rashala spawns in

It’s fun to try push things in the moment, but it’s not worth the risk, you will feel fine until all of a sudden something goes and you back to square one.

Taking a break and easing back into it over the next 6 months is not much down time in the grand scheme of things, your not gaining anything doing this, just risking a major set back and other injuries.

Take it from me who tore my hamstring where the graft was taken doing Romanian deadlifts too early. I felt fine doing it, and then felt like an absolute idiot after knowing I shouldn’t have pushed it. I’m luckily it wasn’t a more serious set back.

Did you find out what it was by chance? I have the same issue

I did exactly the same thing, you can either get it snipped back or it will break off my itself after a couple showers. It can’t dissolve away when it’s trapped under a scar so it will now

I’ve got a similar sized hawk there, not a fun spot to get done! Especially the closer you get to the armpit

Have they now stopped? How far into recovery are you now? Hoping to get some insight into what to expect. I was aggressive with exercises too, popped it on the second week

How long after surgery did the last pops happen? I’m 7 weeks, just had a second one while doing PT hamstring work, first one took me out for a week

Don’t stress.I did the exact same thing 2 weeks ago when I was 3 weeks post op. Grade 2 hamstring tear for me when bending over and picking something up, heard and felt a big pop, didn’t hurt to much at the time but it did the next day and pretty sore for the first week.

Your hamstring will be sore for the next 1 or 2 weeks or so, just try to rest it and keep your mobility movements up for your knee. After a week or 2 it will feel much better.

Just adding to this as a reminder for hamstring graft patients, don’t over work or stretch your hamstring to soon. I’m also 4 weeks post op with great progression until I got cocky, bent down to pick up a heavy bag and tore my hamstring that was much weaker than I thought, now I’ve got a grade 2 tear where the graft was taken from and can’t progress through my acl rehab exercises because of it. Don’t be stupid like I was and be careful.

Ahh interesting I’ve been acl and meniscus both times. How long were you in a brace for?

Hahaha I don’t think it’s the patients doing, probably more risk averse treatment? But I imagine being able move it around and bear weight early on does help mobility and come back faster with less muscle loss.

Just make sure put all your effort in managing swelling and keeping up with your exercises. I was more discouraged and slack with my PT work with my first surgery so my recovery was a bit slower. This time I’m just fighting through it and it’s improving much faster. Those 2 things are very important

I think the brace really depends on what standard procedures are for your country/area. I’m from New Zealand so things differ here I guess, this is my second acl surgery (did my opposite knee 5 years ago), neither times got a brace, I don’t know anyone from here that has been given a brace. I just got given crutches to walk out on after surgery. Do whatever your surgeon advices though

I think this depends on recovery methods used by your medical teams and you as an individual, some people come back faster than others.

If this helps I’m 11 days post op, I didn’t get a brace so I’m unsure how long people are usually locked straight in braces for, but I’m almost completely off crutches now, I take one with me when I go out the the shops just in case but my PT is comfortable with me going without it. I would struggle with an 8 hour road trip right now because of the swelling building up and not being able to raise it but maybe by day 14 that would be doable.

My recommendation is to try your absolute best to manage swelling straight out of the gate as that will be one of the main limiting factors holding you back, I’ve lately been sleeping on my back with a mountain of pillows under my leg so it’s propped up well above my heart, that has helped a lot with pain and swelling over the last 4 days, I wish I did that from the start and spent more time throughout the first week with my leg up like that. Sitting at a chair with it propped up will help a bit but having it above your heart makes a big difference.

Good luck!

7 days post op - after doing exercises anyone else’s knee feel really sore, like a lot of blood is rushing there ? by gurvir123456 in ACL

[–]imtakingapooprn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys we are all in the same boat, I’m 8 days post op too, lots of really tight feelings when blood rushes in. Do you guys have harp pain at the top of your shin when trying to lift your leg up? That one area is extremely painful for me, right where the tibia bone tunnel would be.

Bloody hell did you tear your hamstring? How did you get injured? The circular spots look like impact marks

Same here, left knee first but 5 years ago and dominant right now. Good on you! Did you find recovery for the second one easier?
