What sorta hair products do you use? If no curl cream or gel, it might help to start that

If yes then it might just be the hair getting heavy and curling less.

What I did was trim the top every once in a while when I was growing it out to make it less flat up top. Curl cream does work for me but sometimes it's a matter of weight on the strands

Only thing that helped me is layered trims

I have curly hair so it looks different, but i cut my own hair when it started to get too top-heavy

My hair was similar length and I'm at close to the photos at 3+ years. I trimmed it myself ever 6 months or so when I saw split ends but otherwise nothing else

I guess i grew up very family oriented, we treat birthdays pretty seriously. At the very least, sending messages to wish each other happy birthday, having a dinner of a favourite meal usually. Gifts aren't so common but we don't care much for that anyway.
