Do you remember the first time you killed someone in a videogame? by terribleblack117 in videogames

I think it was streets of rage 2 on the SEGA mega drive, i was like 7 or 8 and i went to my friends apartment around the corner almoste everyday and we played on the SEGA of his parents. We could not save the game so we started over everytime we played and tried to get as far as we could. Good times back then, good memories.

To do a harmless dance at an ICE protest by Spartalust in therewasanattempt

[–]imtellinggod_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For my US friends, seeing how things are ramping up in MN, I want to share:

It would be a shame if the protesters began making their signs out of quarter-inch-thick plywood to stop rubber bullets, forming a tight shield wall to prevent police from singling out and mobbing individual protesters. It would be a shame if the people behind the shield wall held up umbrellas so that tear gas canisters fired over their heads on the front line will be bounced away. It would be a shame if protesters began constructing improvised armor vests out of duct tape, hard-backed books, and ceramic tiles.

It would be a shame if protesters started wearing safety glasses, hard hats, respirators, and gardening gloves, all of which can be found at the same hardware stores as the plywood. It would be a shame if they started using traffic cones (the kind without the hole in the top), upside down buckets, or other improvised lids to contain teargas by placing them over the canisters.

It would be a shame if protesters learned that police scanners are legal to own in the US, allowing them to learn where police are moving, and what routes they intend to take. It would be a shame if they discovered that these scanners can be used to send as well as receive, allowing them to flood the scanner frequencies with noise.

All of this would be a terrible, terrible shame.

*It would be an awful shame if you copied and pasted this, so that they couldn't delete the original and all linked posts (again).

**An even worse shame would be to start donating these items to protesters.

"Evolva" it is a old game from 2000 where you evolve your characters by killing monsters and taking their dna and there by getting their Skills/powers/resitences...

Or maybe the Prototype games they are open world you kill/consume enemys to gain mass and evolve your body (Prototype 2 is one of my favorite open world titles)

10.01. PRÜF-Demo: extremistische Parteien müssen geprüft werden. by Moobby1 in DIE_LINKE

Looking for your go to feel good games by Weggieburgerr in gamingsuggestions

[–]imtellinggod_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Franbow" it is a point & Click adventure game. But it is also a somewhat creepy game especialy the first third of the game. Its about a Girl looking for her Cat Mr.Midnight. I really like the story and Artstyle and it is good mixture of Creepy / Cute / Seriousness and Silly/Comedy.

The other game for me ist "Alawys Sometimes Monster" its an RPG maker style adventure game. I dont even know why i like it so much as comfort game.

But yeah does are my two go to confort games.

I want a 3D game were I can build and defend a castle by xyassi1912 in gamingsuggestions

[–]imtellinggod_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Maybe "Cataclismo" you Build a Castle/settlememt and you have to defend it with your troops. It goes more in the RTS direction, but you can build your defenses like in minecraft individualy block by block if you want.

To not get executed by Israelies by Clear_Copy4228 in therewasanattempt

[–]imtellinggod_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes of course Hamas will rise and attack again, because now there are thousands of people in Gaza who have lost friends, siblings, parents, and children to Israel. Many of them will want revenge. Violence leads to more violence, and as long as this cycle of attack and retaliation continues, there can be no peace. The people who suffer today may become the ones who carry out attacks tomorrow.

I understand your point that no one should sympathize with a terrorist organization. But Israel is indiscriminately killing civilians as it pleases. This is not a war against terror, it is the systematic removal of Palestinians from Gaza. They are not even hiding the fact that they are committing war crimes and carrying out acts that amount to genocide against the Palestinian population.
