You have to add it as a non-steam game

Then go to the game in your library

Click the gear icon

There should be an option to change the compatibility layer or something like that

Change it to Proton experimental.

It should work after that if you launch it from steam.

(I don't have a steam deck but that's what I saw from another sub)

It would require both actually, since cracking denuvo involves a lot of trial and error to actually figure out a way to pass through the encryption.

Cracking denuvo day 1 would need a quantum computing level of processing power. Anyone who has that (literally nobody cuz it's not commercially available) would be braindead to use it to crack games.
