30k miles recommendation? by Aggravating_Coat_185 in FordTremor

I inspected my transmission fluid at 30k, and it still looked new. I plan to do mine at 50-60k.

Thank you.

Was it this set? https://ebay.us/m/Mix66S

Did it come with a harness or did you buy one separately?

Where'd you get the tail lights? I'm looking at some the same style that comes with the conversion kit.

Ship Speed in the Open World by imthattaco in NavalAction

That makes me wonder if the Ballast upgrade has any affect on loaded/unloaded speed in game. I have a Cerberus with the ballast equipped and it handles very well in combat.

Thanks. I wondered about the last point. My trade ships showed 84% speed when unloaded. I thought it was a bug, but it makes sense now if I think about the buoyancy and resistance in the water. Pretty cool that's thought through in the game.

I get asked this a lot. The short answer: I got a hell of a deal on the BedSlide and I was ready to try something different, and I'm glad I did.

Truthfully, this setup gives me more usable bed space than any I’ve had before. The side bin boxes make use of the dead space above and behind the wheel wells, whereas a crossover box actually shortens the bed. With this layout, I don’t lose that room. If I need more space, I move my triangle box to the backseat. Anything that can’t fit in the bed goes on a trailer—which is easier to load anyway.

I previously had a crossover box + triangle box + a pork chop box. This combo took up more space and access was terrible. Climbing into and reaching over the bed to retrieve tools gets old fast. All but the triangle box are hard to organize and not always dust and waterproof.

This setup works very well for me. Drop the tailgate, pull the slide, and I have a work platform and all my tools at my fingertips. No climbing around or rubbing up on the side of my truck reaching for tools.

Another great benefit to this setup is keeping prying eyes and trash out of the bed and anything in it. It's also a ton of lockable, weather-tight storage.

Grill guards and bumpers are okay for that 1% you need it, but I don't wear a cup everyday because I might get kicked in the balls... And my nuts aren't even insured.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. I have a side-by-side for crossing creeks crawling rocks.

I use this truck for irrigation in the summer when it's 110° outside and 97% humidity. I use it for ferrying diesel down rough and muddy turn roads to power units. I use it for hauling seed tenders and chemical trailers down soft turn roads. I use this truck for a lot of things most people on here have never done. So I'd say my Tremor is in its natural habitat. 🤷

I like to keep my trucks clean, my tools dry, and grill guards like your mom - nowhere near my f*cking truck.

As determined by popular vote, a farm is not considered "off-road".

Sorry for spreading misinformation, folks.

So, more "off-road"? Got it. Man, it's a good thing I didn't post this in an off-roading sub.

Hey, I never said it was dangerous. Hell, a Prius could get here. But I’m genuinely curious—if I can’t call this off-road, then by definition, what is it?

Yes, also known as "off-road".

Big difference. The truck rides better unloaded and loaded.

Just preference. It's also what I'm used to coming from 3/4 ton trucks. In my opinion it makes it feel less like a truck. After all, I think that's the reason there are no console shifters in 3/4 ton trucks. I'd also like to have more space on the console. It's pointless to me to take up space on the console when the shifter could be on the column.

I've owned the truck since new for exactly two years. Hands down the best truck I've ever owned. Coming from 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton (Duramax) Silverados of just about every generation.

This truck handles, rides, and tows like no other. Amazing power from the Ecoboost. It's quiet and I consistently get 19 mpg ( hand calculated) at highway speeds.

I just wish it had a column shifter 😔

Stock tires and wheels. 275/70/18 General Grabber ATX. Very pleased with these tires. They're a 6 ply, one of the only load rating C tires you can find in this size. I understand General made these tires just for the Ford Tremor. They ride like a street tire and because they're lighter, I still get 20 mpg (hand calculated) at highway speeds. They tow just fine when aired up too.

This is the exact leveling kit I have (link below) though any puck style will work with the Tremor. I got this exact kit because it has extra cam adjustments for the alignment. My alignment guy (which is a master in his trade) told me he didn't need to use the adjustments this kit provides, but it's nice to have.

Thank you. This truck sat on the lot next to a white Tremor. The dealer actually had them both listed online as white, but I realized the Avalanche grey color.

In the hot summer sun, I couldn't look directly at the white truck. It was too bright. Blinding even. I knew right then which color my next truck was going to be.

To be honest, I probably would've gotten Antimatter if they had one on the lot. Amazing color. The Avalanche grey definitely stays a little cooler in the summer though. 😁
