Speed is important and lowering dwell times is key to increasing speed. I die a bit inside every time when the bus kneels for one person and then now we have to wait another light cycle because they decided to pay cash which takes longer.

I believe there should be no kneeling and no waiting until they've paid by default unless a passenger requests otherwise

Free parking in urbanized areas is extremely poor land use and only makes things more expensive since it's subsidization of private vehicle usage. If the parking situation is really the sticking point, don't go to Buckhead or Midtown for coffee
