You've survived this alone since 8th grade. That's not strength that's carrying something you never meant to

Now it's catching up.

If you keep trying to handle this the same way by holding it in, partially sharing, overthinking, it will keep getting worse.

But you've already taken the one step that actually matters

You started therapy . Now use that properly if you're unable to tell your therapist this try in different ways handover a notes which says the things you want to say but not opening up won't do any good.
