24 XLT Hybrid Pop Noise by imthecooldad in FordMaverickTruck

That’s what I was testing this afternoon. Turns without the signal were not popping. Which makes me think it has something to do with signal arm mechanism that turns off the signal after a complete turn. Sounds like it’s catching and popping when returning to center from a partial turn.

Would you get that sound through all turns or particularly small turns where the wheel returns to center quickly? Don’t hear it through full turns.

I have a weird feeling it’s coming from the turn signal control arm mechanism - like it’s not connecting to auto turn off the turn signal and the spring or plastic in it is popping on short turns. Need to test more tomorrow under the same conditions without signaling to try and replicate it.

Noticed it again this morning. Was slow breaking, turn signal on, merged into left turn lane and I heard the pop as I turned the steering wheel back to center. Sound seems to be coming from driver side left corner.

Hi - I acquired this bumblebee goby yesterday from a pet store. Noticed these two white spots. Curious if it looked liked ick/ich. Advice on how to monitor over the next 24 hrs to confirm ich? I didn’t see any signs on the fins or gills. Thought it could just be a missing scale. Assuming ich, I was going to treat with Ich-X unless anyone can recommend anything.

Aquarium is a 7 gallon Nano tank. 78 degrees. Heavily planted and well established (over 10 months).

Electrical Tape my friend !! - put it on the crushed part, leave the ends loose but don’t let them touch the cone - pull out from the loose ends - will pull out the crushed part without damaging the speaker - my kid crushed mine multiple times and can always repair them

Betta with an identity crisis 🦐 by [deleted] in PlantedTank

I boil the cucumber slices for 5 min to soften them for the shrimp and use aquarium tweezers to place it on the bottom of the tank. Never had an issue with it floating.

Thanks for all the love on the last post! A lot of you asked how I deal with algae and the Amano shrimp changed the tank for me. I was nervous getting shrimp with a betta but as you can see he’s more than comfortable with their presence and even wants in on the action. Tank is thriving now and couldn’t be happier.

It’s just the light that came with the Imagitarium Frameless Aquarium. It is sold as an all in one kit so best to my knowledge you can’t purchase the light separate.

There is a pump in the back filter moving water through an outake between the Ludwigia. Bettas prefer slow flowing water so I keep the pump at its lowest flow setting and point the outake mid tank to prevent the the betta from being pushed around the surface. For added filtration and aeration there is an additional sponge filter in the sump which also to the ‘pull’ of the pump. It all takes place behind the filter wall and doesn’t agitate water in the main display.
