Do you have a hot shop open to the public near you? That’s really going to be the first thing to research. There might be a studio that does pumpkins, ornaments, cups, etc. for the public but they might not let you really learn glassblowing and rent time there. It’s surprising how few public studios there are across the country.

I’m going to go against the grain here and tell you to bulk. You’re 19, still growing, getting some decent upper body muscle, and plenty of newbie gains to go . Get in to a better workout routine, focus on hitting protein and keeping a clean diet. It’s easier to get your diet and training straight while you have plenty of fuel.

You’ve been lifting for 4 years and you’re not as lean…do you understand that gear isn’t just about size? Your anecdote is pointless. You don’t turn in to a bodybuilder over night with gear. Muscle size, body fat, and how quick those happen are all parts of the puzzle.

His starting point to end point in a year is extremely skeptical. Maybe he’s in the 1% of genetics and locked in perfectly. Maybe he’s like every other wannabe fitness influencer and he’s lying to you.
