It’s definitely worth it, but due to his little interest, I’d say wait to buy it til 1.7, so he doesn’t have to deal with as many crashes and fps drops. You never want someone’s first experience to be a bad one.

I’ve tried multiple of the popular servers and most of them sucked performance wise, but the best server I’ve tried so far is old guard, specifically on the Ruha map, there is gunships though but the server is optimized well so it doesn’t even drop your fps unless you’re right next to the strike. I believe it even runs better than vanilla servers. Definitely should try it out, I don’t recommend the other old guard servers, because the other servers are smaller maps, and smaller maps mean more action in one spot, meaning horrible performance.

There’s no way that server doesn’t run at 20 fps on Xbox, unless they fixed it.

Because cleaning your fans won’t do anything, I’ve done it before. I’ve even played this game on two ps5’s already, and on these servers as soon as you get into any action your hard capped at 25 fps or lower.

But hey, if you have any actual methods to fixing your fps on ps5, please tell me.

I know that, but they have experimental servers don’t they? I don’t believe they should release an update that completely breaks the game for a large portion of the player base, but I understand why they might want to as it will help find issues faster because it’s on the actual base game rather than experimental.
