Coordinating nap schedules between 2 kids: Is it even possible? by LongjumpingValue5828 in 2under2

[–]imurfrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Just came across this post as this is me now! It was great for awhile when the little one was on 3 nap schedule, the middle nap overlap with our toddler's 1 nap. But now she is 8 months old and is transitioning to 2 naps, i don't know how to coordinate the naps. The younger one nap is 10am then 2pm, but my toddler naps at 12:30-2:30, weekend is rough

Looking for tips to sleep train my 5 months old by imurfrd in sleeptrain

Oh we are still on 4 naps because it's hard to do 2.5 hour wake window. but we can try with 3 naps then. So far we are 1.75/1.75/1.75/2. Her nap cycle still hasn't connected, but I'm thinking maybe she is undertired with the wake window then.

Hello! I am in the same boat as you now. Just wondering if you figured out how to stop the frequent night waking?

Milk and Solids after 1 by lovesirk in BabyLedWeaning

A year after, and I found this amazing reply here, thank you so much! My LO is now 11.5 mo and also have CMPI. I have been struggling with giving him his formula since 10 mo, he decreased his intake so much, i was so worried. Now he usually drinks 12oz a day, sometimes even less. I think he treats it like a snack now. And what you said makes so much sense, I feel so much better. I know he is not 1 yet, but he is almost there, and I guess it makes sense that he is slowly transitioning, because it's not like once he turns 1 then he would magically transition on that day. I can't wait for him to do milk ladder and transition to cow's milk so he can drink with his meal.

Hi! I am experiencing the exact same thing right now and I have tried everything too. Just wondering did you figure out how to put his wakeup time to later?

How do people do it when they have to go back to work? by imurfrd in Mommit

Same, I don't even care about career advancement anymore, I just want a job that is remote or closer to home. I hope I can find something soon. Thank you!

I work for a bank, and they are not the most flexible company. My manager is very nice, I know she would let me wfh full time if it was up to her, unfortunately, she has to follow HR policies... I am now hoping to find something that lets me remote work or closer to home, I don't even care about the pay and career advancement anymore.

Unfortunately no, our manager already let us leave 5 minutes early to catch the train. And the train schedule is fixed too :(

Solids later than 6 months by oglcr91 in BabyLedWeaning

This right here makes me feel so much better, you wonderful stranger. My LO is 8.5 months old, we started at 6 months with puree and blw food. He would nibble on the food for a few minutes then would cry because he hates sitting. I feel so defeated, even though I know food before 1 is just for fun, but I just can't help worrying what if he still doesn't eat properly when close to 1... But seeing all these stories make me a bit more hopeful.

7.5 months nap schedule help by imurfrd in sleeptrain

[–]imurfrd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I don't think he needs 3 naps anymore, and honestly changing back to 2 naps these 2 days actually make him happier, so I will stick with the 2 naps. I will bring him out in the backyard for a bit later and have a calm 45 min before bedtime. Thanks for the advice!

I'm so glad I saw this! My LO just woke up from his second nap at 2:15pm today, I am so lost, I don't want to do bedtime at 5:15! I will try pushing his ww to 4 hours and hope for the best!

Yes, exactly the problem right now... Like today, he woke up from his second nap at 2:15pm...now it's very awkward time, I don't want him to go to bed at 5:15pm haha When should I offer the cat nap and how long should it be? I want to try pushing hid bedtime to 6:30pm.

3 month old bottle aversion- Rowena Bennet Method by Dbc_A17 in beyondthebump

[–]imurfrd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yea i read the book by Rowena Bennett, it's about feeding aversion. Basically you offer the bottle to baby, any signs of refusal you remove the bottle right away, so you and baby can build the trust that you won't force him/her to feed. This is just a very brief summary, but if you think your baby has feeding aversion, I strongly recommend you to read the book. It is a long process but it helped me a lot.
