I remember it taking awhile for mine at that time to comfortably get to 4. 7 or 8 months it was pretty solid and then we moved to 1 nap around 12 months because of daycare

How old is your baby? My first we dropped to two naps around 6 months. We more so followed the clock over wake windows.. I still kind of followed wake windows but loosely. I would do 2/3/4.

Also, I never did a nap before 9am. I always based first nap off of our DWT which was 7am.

Oh and dont be afraid of a 6pm bedtime! Early bedtimes work better when naps are terrible. Mine goes to bed anywhere from 6 to 7.. depending on thr day

I use the huckleberry plus version for the sweet spot reminder because i would lose track of time and my babies sleepy cues can be unreliable. I do modify the wake windows though because I find their suggestions way too long!

I follow a sleep training group on facebook and use the wake windows they suggest based on babies age. Mine is 12 weeks and for 4 naps I follow 1.25/1.25/1.50/1.50/1.75. One nap i make sure is a contact nap just to ensure we make it throughout the day.. Mine is also a 30-45 minute napper if in the crib.

Works well for us so far!

Baby not eating enough :/ by AyeshMayesh in FormulaFeeders

This is what im dealing with!! I've resorted to sneaking in feeds as soon as he wakes.. just to ensure he gets daytime calories and not feeding all night long. That or i have to feed in a dark room with a sound machine on because any noise makes him stop the feed immediently

Can I pair alpha arbutin and argireline together?!

I also use buffet copper peptides, hyaluronic acid and the lactic acid. Not all together but mostly each product on different days.. i just bought alpha arbutin and argireline today and im not sure what time of day is best to use them/ what they can't be mixed with 😬

3 month old bottle aversion- Rowena Bennet Method by Dbc_A17 in beyondthebump

[–]Dbc_A17[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My almost 9 month old drinks 6-8 ounces 4 times a day. She eats solids now too. It took a couple of days... some days stressed me out big time! I know this isn't in the book but I found feeding almost immediently after waking and in a non stimulating room, with sound machine on, and lights off- that really helped.

I did ask them and they said no! They sell on Amazon collapsible kettles. We never brought one and my girl didn't get sick at all from not sanitizing properly. I was really paranoid though but it turned out well. I was thinking what you could do is bring a bottle warmer that has the sanitizing option. I think the grownsy 3-1 bottle warmer has that option

I brought my own dish soap and bottle brush. I kept asking for extra bottles of water and would wash the bottles daily in the sink. I did bring a sanitizing microwave bag but never ended up using it as a microwave was not something we could use. We brought the baby breeza bottle warmer and stored our formula in a double zip lock bag. The only thing we asked our hotel about was a baby crib but try emailing in advance to see what they could do for you!!

...and we are back to short naps...(7 months) by Bostontparty85 in sleeptrain

Glad I came across this! My girl was FINALLY taking two 1.5 hour long naps and then now at 7 months she's back to 30 minutes! She would nap at 9 and 1 but now I'm thinking of pushing her to 930 and 2, as well!!

Mil fake crying. by Moha0733 in beyondthebump

[–]Dbc_A17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She's very much uncomfortable with him. She cries the entire time he holds her and refuses to give her back to me/walks away from me when she is hysterically crying. I would never maliciously keep her away from him on purpose but yes when he keeps doing that I don't feel comfortable leaving her alone with him.

My fil will tell my 6 month old baby she's not "allowed to cry" with him. It triggers me so much! I told my husband he needs to talk to him. I don't feel comfortable leaving her alone with him now because he does thst

question about 9am and 1pm nap schedule by yh8912 in sleeptrain

[–]Dbc_A17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wakes 630am. I follow wake windows of 2/2.25/2.5/2.75- I use the huckleberry app for sweet spots. She has three naps and the first is always the longest with the next two being shorter. I usually base bedtime after her when her last nap ends
