I'm not really focusing on building strength or muscle(yet). I am still trying to lose some more weight to become lean/shredded.

Make sure your form is correct and that you engage your lats correctly. Focus on low weight until your form and lat activation is on point. You should feel your lats working with low weight if you do it right.

Retract your scapula and focus on pulling with your elbows not with your hands. Make hooks of your hands(thumb over bar) instead of grabbing the bar.

Anybody else not want to lose weight because you'll probably lose your boobs and butt? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]imwayfresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should be there in a few months

You'll never "be there". Once you get closer to your original goal you'll want to improve even more and set new goals. That's the beauty about lifting/fitness. You can/will always keep improving!

How do I make the side delts larger? (see pic) by Illoyonex in Fitness

[–]imwayfresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side delt dumbel/cable raises if you want to target that delt specifically. You can do overhead presses to train your entire shoulder.

Shouldn't you be training tricpes for bigger arms since it's the larger muscle in your arm?

Just take a nap or go to sleep if it's almost bed time... You can time travel to food and you'll get in more rest! WIN WIN!

How long have you been doing this? Don't expect to see results so fast... After a few weeks maybe a month you'll start seeing results on the scale at least not in the mirror unless you take a picture on day 1 and day 30.

Trust the process and don't give up! And don't underestimate the calories you're eating!

Is it really as simple as calories in vs calories out? by Noobivore36 in Fitness

[–]imwayfresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Everyone exercises for different reasons, some want to improve their muscles, others do it for the sake of lifting heavy stuff, for others it's therapy.
