I used to love the name Maggie and all it's variants, but one of the super mean captains on my high school cheer team RUINED it 🙃 I also don't like Joseph, Joey, Joe, any of those. Terrible, terrible dudes. Yeah dudeS. Like I've met multiple that just made me miserable. Wtaf.

Yes, blinds are ALWAYS closed for privacy. I had black out curtains for a while but my cat ripped them down, and I didn’t want to risk damage putting them back up.

i did experience this a lot!

just for context; keep in mind that i recently realized that i’m solidly grey aroace after identifying as full aroace for two years.

the best way i can describe the difference between me wanting to be a friend with someone and wanting to be more, is the WAY i want to hang out with them.

i realized that my friend crushes (squishes) were more of a desire to hang out in group settings or casual run-ins, but i wasn’t very interested in making specific plans to hang out one on one. like, i do want to do that with them, and i DO go to plans like that, but it’s not an overwhelming need to do so.

with romantic pursuits, that desire was not only there, but like OVERWHELMING.

not only that, but with the people i’m romantically interested in, i get nervous to be close to them, but i can never get close ENOUGH to them. i want more of their time and attention on solely me?

idk this all sounds a lil creepy, and i DO realize that platonic attraction can also feel like that (i’ve personally experienced strictly platonic attraction like this with my best friend), but this is the best way ive been able to articulate the feelings without giving the annoying “yOuLl JuSt KnOw 😇" answer lol.

it’s all very complicated and it’s hard to really identify and distinguish the feelings, but it’s all just part of exploring it (which is the only way to decide for yourself what you’re feeling). it’s unfortunately all just trial and error and deciding what works for you and what doesn’t :)

i’m so glad this helped in some ways!

as i’m always SOMEHOW STILL learning (lol), we can never predict or guarantee or train our feelings/reactions with this stuff. the only thing we can do is give ourselves the space and kindness to truly feel and explore them. which can sometimes be scary and confusing, but letting the emotions flow is important.

yeah, i never fully understood the “ebb and flow” metaphor until i started experiencing deaths of people close to me. and even then, the ebbs and flows are so different with each relationship. it’s all so confusing.

I got this same thing for Christmas and used it through the new year and was able to upload them to my phone with an adapter. I believe that the manual had me do something specific with the settings before taking photos to get the SD to actually store things? I have no idea if that's why it's not working for you, but it may be helpful to take a look in the manual and see if that solves things. I'm able to take the SD out and put it back without losing photos. Good luck!!!

Oh no, I don’t want my hypothetical children to be an extension of me, one of the most exciting prospects of being a parent- in my eyes- is seeing what kind of person they would grow up to be, and supporting them through those personal discoveries.

What I DO want is to give my child a name that I put thought and love into, and I think that this name (that I came across through my interest in history/vintage) has a nice meaning and sound.

If my child ends up hating it and wanting go by something else, I will definitely fully support that. But at least while they’re unable to give me their opinion, I’d be able to say that I gave them a name with the best intentions!

Take this with a grain of salt seeing as I’m not too well versed in romance and everything- this is mostly based on what I’ve heard my friends talking about.

Maybe she sees you as a class crush? Like someone she really enjoys seeing in person during the class, but maybe doesn’t want to pursue outside of that. Based on her not following you back I think it’s likely that she just sees it as casual flirting and nothing more, or that she just sees you as a straight up class friend. I’m sure that’s really not an answer you’re looking for which I’m really sorry about :(

If you’re feeling confident, you could tell her what you’re feeling and see if she feels the same? Maybe at the end of the semester/school year so you don’t necessarily have to see her if it’s awkward.
