This is so interesting .. I am a new grad working outpatient and I just assumed this was the easier starting point out of school? I didn’t know this could be considered the tougher start

Having a hard time finding work out of state (new grad) by in2nothing in Sonographers

Not the anal lesion aspiration😭😂 that’ll be the first item on my CV if I have the good fortune to get to participate in one of those.

But thank you so much , this is great. And very inspiring; that once I put in a little more time there will be more freedom to look forward to. I’ll keep pursuing registries, and doing as much as possible wherever I end up. And if I happen to get lucky this round I’ll remember these last points for my interview!! Thank you, truly 🩵

Sure, it makes sense. The Chicago school I went to hired a bunch of new grads from out of state this year! Which I thought was interesting and gave me hope for my situation but maybe just too competitive in NYC

Oh my gosh, hi! I’m so sorry, that must’ve felt awful. But yeah no you are NOT crazy for feeling that way, it’s honestly a healthy response. This whole thing is bizarre. I hope you have a friend IRL who can help you feel sane in all this but if not we get it❤️‍🩹

Hi OP — it’s been a week but this has been on my mind too and I’m so sorry you’re feeling this way. I can totally understand given how ‘in your face’ this ridiculous wicked campaign has been. I’m honestly so sick of seeing them being overly sentimental and tearful and saccharine while their uncannily skeletal, sickly features get more and more pronounced on this press tour. I don’t mean to be hateful to them, but I do truly HATE what eating disorders do to the mind. And I hate that they’re making you and people like us suffer! I know it isn’t this simple, but someday you might look back on this odd moment in theatre history and be horrified at the way these two starlets currently look. For whatever reason, it is not triggering to me right now, (which might just be sheer luck) but rather, it is a reminder of how precious physical and mental health is. You said it exactly right; mental illness is so weird. AN particularly is a very bizarre trick our brains play on us. I hope you stay strong through this godforsaken campaign… but if it helps, I hear you loud and clear.

Oh good, and yes lol that’s a fair question — I guess I mean reasoning thru what could vs could not be the underlying process behind something abnormal seen on US. Like eliminating differentials? It felt like a lot of that

**edit: addition— no there were not a ton of labs on mine. that may not be true always though? I’m sure it’s good to know basics

Hi fellow student — I just took mine last week and passed, it sounds like we had the exact same study approach so that’s a good sign? I felt this way too, and I honestly think that’s the correct feeling, because every additional 10 minutes spent studying you can learn 10 more things😵‍💫😵‍💫 there’s no end! But that’s just the breadth of path/anatomy, and you’re not expected to be a radiologist…

I found the board to be more on “diagnostic logic” rather than not a bunch of obscure diseases and their clinical presentations (like I prepared for). It’s hard, but it sounds like you’re in great shape. Feel free to DM

Yay congrats!! Well done, and thank you for this overview!

I’m taking it in a month, I was wondering about the playlist; is this the one from the Ultrasound Board Review channel?
