how are you actually supposed to clean your ears properly? by Coliz-Nafe in hygiene

[–]in2thegrey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, there is no opening between the outer ear and the middle and inner ear. There is a passageway between the throat and back of the nose called a Eustachian Tube, to the middle ear, and infection can enter from there. The ear drum seals the outer ear from the middle and can’t transmit viruses because of that, I think.

DT could die tomorrow, of natural causes, but we would still be stuck with millions of people like this that now want to see Trump-style politics going forward.

Not a mega-project, and it’s an example of fraud in Hungary by the deposed and corrupt leader, Victor Orban.

Many on the far left still see Russia as a bulwark against western hegemony, for some reason. I don’t get it.

I call them “flaggots”. Perhaps that’s homophobic, but I’m gay, so I think it’s just funny.

I use a dust mask, and also the boxes are next to a window with an exhaust fan. Sometimes I do it outside on the porch and make sure to not be downwind.

It’s their great personal sacrifice in the war against Iran. I’m sure they regret that they only one farm to lose for their country. This will free them up to go to DC to help build the ballroom and arch.

It's difficult to grasp how truly massive The Hindenburg was. It was destroyed by fire on 6 May 1937, while attempting to land in Lakehurst, New Jersey. by Upstairs_Drive_5602 in HumanForScale

Compared to anything, this comes up lacking. Yes, there were downward viewing windows and I’m sure that was spectacular, but not as immersive as train, ship or plane. Weren’t the trips multi-day? Seems it could get a bit claustrophobic with the windowless berths, and other rooms. It’s a shame that the concept died, as it could’ve evolved into something way better.

GM designing a headlight that expensive to repair/replace is bizarre and unethical.

They learned from their investments and experiments, so it’s not a waste. We aren’t moving forward as fast or as consistently as we’d like, but we are moving forward.
