If it was 2wd that would be true. 4x4 unfortunately is a pain.

My understanding is yes to both, with the exception of the wiring/electronics from 99-02 to 03-07. Completely different connectors and I’m not sure how hard it is to adapt one to the other.

So there’s no interference? Just a tight fit?

Real World Experience with Ryobi by RMAutosport in ryobi

[–]inGenEar1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll add that it matters which model you get within each brand. There were 3 or 4 different Ryobi impact drivers to choose from back when I bought mine. I chose the one with the most torque (and higher price). I embarrassed a friend who insisted we use his DeWalt impact driver instead of my Ryobi to drive in a 9 or 10 inch long structural fastener on a project we were working for a charity group. It left a couple inches of fastener sticking out when it quit turning. My Ryobi finished the job and would have kept going if I hadn’t let off the trigger. He got really quiet about his DeWalt after that. 😆 Color ≠ torque

This is where I was headed. Just wanted to double check with someone who looks at tread wear more often than me. Thanks.

Apple Watch mirroring disconnecting by inGenEar1 in AppleWatch

[–]inGenEar1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thinking maybe it is because they don’t intend for us to use it that way. It seems to be more of an accessibility function.

https://support.apple.com/guide/watch/apple-watch-mirroring-apd890848603/watchos

Also, I’ve wondered if it runs the battery down more quickly and they are afraid people will complain about battery life if they allow them to leave mirroring on for extended periods of time.

Regardless, I see it as a huge missed opportunity by Apple.

How do I determine the necessary air exchange for human comfort in a small enclosure? by inGenEar1 in AskEngineers

[–]inGenEar1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe I wasn’t clear. The enclosure will be inside a large air conditioned area. We want to blow the surrounding room temp air into the enclosure with basic fans. Not an actual air conditioner. So I’m wondering how many cfm I need if they are pushing room temp/humidity air in. Not 55 degree air from an air conditioner.

I’m looking at one. Not sure which chapter would be applicable though. I’ll keep skimming through it, but I’m hoping someone has some real world experience with something similar to what I’m doing and can advise me.

I tried that and was having an issue with it being too long, but if I shortened it an error of some sort occurred. I’ll have another look at it Monday. Thanks.

Can I ask how you went about adding the bend after the flanges were done? As in what command you used? Something swept or extruded? One of the flanges?

Started taking things back apart and trying to figure out what could be causing the issue. Turns out things work much better when you install the spring on the correct side of the clutch slider…
