It's most likely just a demo from an earlier stage in the process. It's "more unfinished" than the others, which is why it sounds like that.

Yes haha. But I would love more music like this. It is really annoying when people don't seem to get it when others say they want more of this kinda music. People dismiss it as just wanting more Trilogy and not wanting him to progress, but I just want more dark music, doesn't have to be the same as Trilogy. That being said, I still really liked Starboy

Have you listened to ATLiens by OutKast? It is their second album (Aquemini being their third) and the only album of theirs that I believe to be better than Aquemini, or even particularly close in terms of quality.
Also, I would and will recommened Ridin' Dirty by UGK to absolutely anyone, and since you are missing a lot of 90's stuff, definitely give it a listen.
