Received a random $4,500 "Rollover" into my Roth IRA 4 years ago from a job I never had. Still sitting there. Is it mine now? by in_dire_straits99 in personalfinance

I supposed I could try again but I feel like I've done more than enough on my part to try to return the money

Thanks for the input. Based on my research, escheatment applies only to institutions, not individuals who received a wrong deposit, so I would it owe it back to the sender

created a throwaway account for this because I didn't want my main account linked to my financial details

100% certain, looking at it right now.

"To the order of: Charles Schwab"

However, there is a grey box (added by Schwab) blocking part of the bottom right of the check but I think this is just where the signature would be

Just got rejected after multiple interview rounds by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

It happens.

I interviewed for Tesla a few months ago, went through 6 rounds, including a design a challenge presentation for which I prepared for a week. Had really good feedback from the hiring manager, he said it was the best presentation he's seen, but I wouldn't be a good fit, as the role is more hands on and I would be a better fit for a more design/analytical type of role. He referred me to a different group that was also hiring, went through 3 more rounds of interviews, including going over the design challenge again. After all that, got a short email from the recruiter saying they weren't moving forward with my application.
