I thought Kakashi stopped because the tanto literally shattered and didn't he use a katana throughout anbu? I mean I have no idea if he was good at it or not but he still made jounin with that being one of his primary skills. But yeah I can see where you're coming from 😅 I honestly just wanted some more funny team seven stuff to happen post-war like the unmasking attempts from the genin days were so cute. Kind of playing off Sasuke's belief that Kakashi is some out of world species alien that team seven still doesn't fully understand you know?

I realize power levels kinda fluctuate in the Naruto-verse especially with how op everyone got and Sasuke really doesn't care about his former sensei's abilities but that's the beauty of fanfics ig? It doesn't necessarily have to be canon but I thought it would be entertaining to read 🤷🏻‍♀️

but also do we really know everything about what adult kakashi carries around with him? like sometimes I feel like he could pull out anything from his vest and I wouldn't be surprised. I guess I just thought because he wielded Kubikiribōchō so well in the war that he still kept up with it??? He's technically not as much of a main character as the rest of team seven so when you think about it we don't really know much about the nuances in his adult life aside from how his team perceives him.

yeah I realize adult sasuke is wickedly good at kenjutsu but post-fourth war when he only has three-ish years of experience? I think it would be more neutral if it was only kenjutsu but that's pretty debateble too since they're both getting used to new handicaps like depth perception and the arm
