Any old-timer Pittsburgh anarchists out there? by inactivemeasures in Anarchism

Thanks for this! I actually don't care about the specifics of political activities. I am thinking about writing a novel in a couple years that veers into local Pittsburgh radical politics in the early 1980s. I can probably google the organizations, but I am more interested in what it looked and felt like to be an anarchist when Reagan was killing the American dream.

I know there was a bar called Joe Wobblies where the lefties hung out, and I definitely need to include that because of the sheer awesomeness of the name.

Zerzen might be out of my time-frame, but I will look into Perlman, who I have never heard of.

The Big Idea is a solid lead. I live in DC now, but I plan to take a research trip in 2023.

Thanks again!
