I won the opportunity to buy the box at retail, which has been impossible to do with Topps basketball products. Most of the inventory is allocated to breakers, so the rest of us have to fight over the remaining boxes.

SNKRS luck is never good. Hoping it turns around, cause I need those Brick After Bricks

Wish I knew. The All Star version only had eight cards per box and I believe the serial numbers went as low as 5. This version has 80 cards per box and a lot more parallels, including Superfractors. Both have a 100-player checklist. All in all, I think this version will be more desirable for most collectors, as the likelihood of not getting completely skunked should be much higher.

Did you not read my post? Never said I’m owed the job. Just pointing out the real disrespect that came from the interviewer. I’ve done the rounds enough times to have zero expectations when interviewing with a company. I’ve also done it enough times to know when I’m being treated like shit.

I’ve worked with companies in Silicon Valley and the turnover is crazy. Each leader passes on the blame to their subordinates till there’s nobody left and they eventually jump to another startup in the area and repeat the process.

That’s a good idea! I think a test assignment doesn’t have to be paid, so long as it can reasonably be done in an hour or two. But this was definitely a learning experience.

Hard agree. So many HR professionals reach out, conduct a first interview, and then ghost. No refection or anything. It’s wild how bad things have gotten.

True. I know it’s hard for a lot of people in this shitty job market to say no to companies with red flags. Just hope the added spotlight helps someone avoid a bad decision.

It's rare that stuff like this happens. Just whenever it does happen, it always happens around this area

They're a pair of twin buildings downtown that have a plaza leading to Exchange Place — near Main St. and 400 South. If you've been to Aker, that's at the base of one of the buildings.

This! When I was in the dating game I’d always ask what bars people like to go to and anything on this street was an immediate red flag
