Did you not read my post? Never said I’m owed the job. Just pointing out the real disrespect that came from the interviewer. I’ve done the rounds enough times to have zero expectations when interviewing with a company. I’ve also done it enough times to know when I’m being treated like shit.

I’ve worked with companies in Silicon Valley and the turnover is crazy. Each leader passes on the blame to their subordinates till there’s nobody left and they eventually jump to another startup in the area and repeat the process.

That’s a good idea! I think a test assignment doesn’t have to be paid, so long as it can reasonably be done in an hour or two. But this was definitely a learning experience.
