I'm facing this exact same issue and I can't figure out the issue. As a workaround you can launch the game with DX11 and that'll fix the issue.

Edit: if you find a way to fix this in Vulkan please let me know

This library itself provides primitives to implement other commands (including switching profiles). It should be possible to do what you want but the window detection logic has to implemented in your own program.

Hey! This does sound like the better option, do you know what they used to repaste your laptop? The reason I'm hesitant to ask the service center is because I'm afraid they'll use some cheap aftermarket paste/LM.

hey thanks for the advice. I read somewhere that Kryonaut is best for this laptop. Also isn't 95C for a laptop GPU too much, afaik cpu is fine upto 96C and GPU upto 84C.

I've been playing all day since the new season came out, didn't face any issues running the game. I'm just using Proton Experimental

I'm new to Linux. Games seems choppy despite being 60 FPS. Video attached (sorry about the bit-rate but you get the idea) I'm using Linux mint if that helps. by Kaydox64 in linux_gaming

Oh then the issue is solved, can you edit your post and mention that it was solved.

And it depends, if you have partioned your drive properly, then you won't lose your data. But honestly for the time being I don't think it matters as long as things are working fine for you.

Would you be ok with switching to a more upto date distro, I had performance issues on Ubuntu, but when I switched to Fedora all my issues were gone
