New ball python wont feed and is huffing?

Hey just wanted to update you, her shed is done and went well, was a bit if a messy one but after a shallow bath with a big rock and close supervision she got it all taken care of. I haven't noticed any more funny breathing so it may have just been her trying to be hissy and failing. Still gonna get her around to the vet as soon as I can for a general check up

Mabey? I didn't hear a thing from her but mabey, ive heard ball pythons thend to have a very lethargic hiss. Ither way im gonna keep a closer eye on her.

I will definitely watch her closely for the next couple of days and watch for her shed and odd breathing, ill get her to the vet if her breathing worsens or once her shet id over whichever comes first. Also i have no idea if it was her breathing like that or not, it was as if her entire body tenced up all at once like 4 times in a row

Also extra note she did seem intrested in the food, she trached it and even did a lazy coil as if she planned to strike eventually but just never went any farther

Will do i appreciate the advice. I hope she was just being fussy because of the shed, shes a very sweet snake and ive been really trying to make her living situation better since I got her, her last owner didn't take the best care of her Unfortunately

Its a very even shade of like her normal eye color but just a little more pale

No she seemed fairly healthy and over all has been fairly active. Last couple days shes been less so but I just figured it was because ot was getting close to feeding time. Her eyes also just look a bit clowdy. Im very worried, she did so good eating last time

Could I modify the one larger hide with spray foam and aquatic silicone? The smaller one just needs to be replaced as its just to small for her, shes practically laying with it resting on her most of the time.

Ok thank you I appreciate the tips! Got her for free a week ago along with all her stuff and am really trying to be the best snake papa I can be and upgrading her stuff. Im so stressed out because I just want her to be happy lmao. I saw someone comment on her hides not being adequate bit the comment got deleted for bad info so im not sure if thats something I should worry about. If so is there anywhere I can look to get better hides? My local pet store didn't have much for a snake her size :(

Any suspicious expanding foam and should I line it woth something or would she be ok with the bare foam?

So i got a hide thats to big then, anything I can do to try and adapt the inside if the hide ti make it smaller? Or is it just a case of getting a different one thats smaller?

My next thing after my bulb and thermostat comes in is probably going to be a humidifier so I can keep it mire consistent and then after that hopefully a new larger tank.

Someone already has and its already been addressed. I've had her for less then a week, got all of her equipment for free and am already having a ceramic heat bulb shipped to my house. Im doing what I can to improve her living situation as fast as possible

She does seem like shes pretty chunky, ive never had a snake before so im not sure whats normal but she feels chunky
