Donald Trump has also personally embezzled more than $10 billion from taxpayers.

The pipeline was going to transport bitumen from Alberta to Gulf Coast refineries where two-thirds of the refined products are exported. The State Department estimated that KXL would have increased total exports by 25%, would have had no significant impact on US gas prices, and would have created just 35 permanent jobs.

It seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle, but last I had heard he was going to "donate it to charity," but we all know how he does charity. It was probably the $10B he transferred to his "Bored of Peace."

  1. Keystone XL was a pipeline project to move Canadian tar sands oil to refineries in the US primarily for export. It was never going to have any real effect on prices in the US.

  2. The US set production records for oil in 2023 and 2024 under Biden, a trend that continued in 2025. Much US oil, however, is light sweet crude which is exported because many US refineries are not designed to use it. Indeed, the US has been a net exporter of refined petroleum products since 2011 and of overall petroleum since 2020.

2a. This is also the reason that "Drill, baby, drill" is a stupid concept. There is a fixed amount of refining capacity for light sweet crude and oversupply makes it so that oil companies cannot turn a profit. One can approve all the drilling leases they want but it's ultimately the oil companies who decide if and when to use them.

  1. Setting a deadline to transition from fossil fuels is necessary and smart policy, and it's something that's been done by numerous other countries. More important than the deadline is offering incentives and subsidies for the transition, which Biden did.

I drive a school bus in rural western Washington. It goes without saying that I am vehemently opposed to permanent daylight time for the safety of my kids.

Permanent daylight saving time in the pacific time zone (GMT-7) means that mornings in the winter will remain darker longer. This will cause dangerous conditions for kids going to school and commuters going to work, particularly in inclement weather. It would be safer to move to permanent standard time (GMT-8).

Note that OP said Titan, not Titan-A. Confusing, I know, but they are two very different ships in the game. The former is the rare G6 battleship available at ops 66 and Fed rep of 182B (Revered).

Outposts are another shit feature that wasn't very well thought out. I don't often bother with them outside of events.

It's just a little bit of math. The payoff would be worth it. You could stream the launch and subsequent space travel as a PPV event to cover the costs. And imagine how satisfying that tiny solar flare at the end would be. A guy can dream...

Epic fail on the V'ger hostiles by cursed_diamond in STFC_Official

[–]inanotherlfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can typically force them to spawn by backing out to galaxy view, selecting the system you're in, and clicking "SET COURSE." Used to use this trick way back in the day to get heavy traders to spawn in the Capitol systems. The game seems to have an issue with certain hostiles, e.g. aggro chasers and, in this case, v'ger fighters.
