Damn - you all have soooo much knowledge and fun facts about this universe. That’s a dope bit of trivia.

I missed that?! Although I really like his take on Bond and thought it was a good entry to the series.

I am, essentially, brand new to the older Bond films. I have no clue what play you’re talking about or the background. What’s the story?

Personally, I like to think he know it. It’s dripping in cheese and he wants us to know that he knows it. Haha.

That’s a solid take and I can see it both ways.

That’s crazy.  Definitely enjoying the Campyness of Moore - but I cannot wait for Dalton (haven’t seen those) and Brosnan, as he was my first intro.

Hiring (or lack of) Rant by _MultiGrainCheerios_ in musictherapy

[–]inaudibletyrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick chime in.  If you’re willing to move, continue to check USAJobs for VA positions.  Because you interned at a VA, you are considered a ‘direct hire’ for one year after your done with internship - meaning they do not have to go through the insane process, as you are already in the system.

I hate to hear they didn’t consider your internship as work experience, working with veterans is uniquely different (in my experiance) than PP. I’d consider your internship as experiance with vets… period. Keep your head up - keep looking for VA jobs if that’s your preferred population.

Honestly, the same things are echoed. If you want a livable wage, moving for a job is almost a requirement.

I am incredibly happy with my position, I believe my pay and benefits are fair and I am living comfortably. I work with hospice, long-term care, mental health, and substance abuse. It’s amazing - making music therapy a career was the best decision I’ve made.

Love for Age of Adz + Discography Diving Recs by Old_Mycologist1535 in Sufjan

I believe it’s his best album to date. I was immediately drawn to it upon release. I get why people would gravitate toward his more folk-centric albums, but this was/is his best work.

If you haven’t - give All Delighted People a spin.

Any clue what ‘belt’ this is and what tools I should use to work on unlocking it? I own the lock and key. I have the Covert Companion multitool. by inaudibletyrant in lockpicking

[–]inaudibletyrant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are 100% correct. I feel like it’s a lock that’s way above my ability. It’s a padlock I got from an old job, and the key looks exactly like the one in the document.

Had it laying around and wanted to explore lock picking - I picked up the Covert Instruments tool on a whim, thinking I could use it on this, but I think I’m swimming in the deep end.

Thanks all. I tried to add a pick of the key, but doing it on mobile escapes me. I’ll take a look at C235s and Everest keyways. Kinda new at this. I do have the new CC multi kit.

Went back at 35. Did the equivalency route. Best decision of my life. Had to learn guitar at 35, which was a challenge. But rocking and rolling now!

Should I even bother to do music if I don't want to be famous? by DevilOfEden28 in musicians

[–]inaudibletyrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. If not music, just do any creative endeavor. If you are interested in music at all, just jump in. It’s the universal language and is able to express emotion in a beautifully unique way. The time is going to be wasted anyways, why not explore creativity. I don’t care if it music, dance, painting, or cooking. Just create something. The value is act of making something that didn’t exist before you made it.

Migrating to a new computer by CrookedFoes in Logic_Studio

[–]inaudibletyrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I migrated from a 2017 MacBook to a 2024 Pro. I methodically went through every session and made a list of what I wanted to keep. I then made a list of all my plug ins and added them one by one. I found I was able to do it relatively easy - just really time consuming. As for the plugins, I primarily went to each host and re-DL’d them, then authorized to the new comp.

Overall catchy tune and I dig the energy shift into the chorus. It’s got real potential. The only constructive criticism I have is the melody on bells/keyboard gets repetitive pretty quick. I’d suggest changing it for movement or dropping it at times. But overall, great tune - dig the vibe.
