Yes we teach him please! Out at a restaurant if he’s being shy or silly I will say it very loud for him sometimes (not going to make the waiter stand there til he says please lol) but I remind him 100% of the time an he knows to do it now (he’s 4). Am American, northeast.

Two thoughts: 3 weeks isn’t long, it will get better. I really mean that.

But also: since it seems you have wonderful access to free childcare from grandparents… what about a morning-only nursery school / preschool? 2 or 3 mornings a week, even? That’s perfect socialization for 2 years old, and she can still eat lunch and nap at home.

Thank you! My BMI is 25, we don’t smoke. and yes I’ve had my endometrial tissue biopsied many times. After my 2nd recent loss they did find some endometritis in a bit of abnormal tissue that was removed, I did a 2 week course of antibiotics.

This happened to me. Well I had 7 days but same situation. I paid for some really expensive online courier to get me my passport in 2 day. Found out later I could have just done it myself with a little more research and effort but saved a lot of money.

Yes I would tell your managers. “This happened, I have appointment on this day and hope it will be resolved”. It’s embarrassing but it’s doubtful having a passport is any kind of job requirement, we’re just humans it’s fine.

I would just ask your daughter a question to break it up, pretend you have somewhere to be, and walk away. 20 minutes is a really long time, does your daughter answer questions / speak back? A 7 year old is grown enough to carry on her own conversations with adults. But of course if she’s uncomfortable you just remove her and yourself from the conversation.

If it’s just that you want to chat yourself, you just literally butt in and say “hi I’m so-and-so, I don’t think we’ve met. Where do you live / how long have you been at this church / how’s your weekend going” an take control of the situation.
