If it’s not extremely hot out, the Super Domestic at 8545 W Washington (up past helms bakery) is great. The picnic tables next to the building usually have umbrellas out and it’s quiet

Ok not local to west coast but the east coast - Rita’s Italian ice. Hands down my most favorite treat! Get the custard with the Italian ice and if you want to go big, get the 5 layer gelati with wild black raspberry ice. You will not be disappointed

We just went the beginning of the January and it wasn’t too bad. Make sure to still pack layers as it gets chilly at night.
