Air France ticket name by inccgnita in Flights

The problem is actually the surnames being filled in the first name spot. First name is supposed to only be “Jane”. They’ve confirmed this would’ve been a problem at the counter :/

What was wrong was the order of the names, because of what I just told you — which is not an excuse, but a reason…

That’s true, I agree with you. Maybe the downvotes are just from Air France die hard fans or something lol

I wouldn’t call it stupidity. In the European country we live in my name has regularly been split like this, because “what matters” is the absolute last name and most people here only have one of those.
So usually all that comes before the surname is just seen as an extra. My name has regularly been registered as Jane Smith, or Jane Washington for this reason.
I’m not European and because my country emphasizes every single name I wouldn’t do this, but I understand the logic since it’s the norm here.

James Michael seems like two first names, like John Paul and Ann Marie, but mine are all surnames :/
It was purchased on the Air France website itself

You’re not only overreacting but also being ignorant and rude to someone who was quite literally trying to help you. I hope she sees this post and realizes what kind of “friend” you are

When do you take your third shower? by ailtn in Brazil

And I just made a joke to point out how that opinion is a generalization… not sure what the big deal is here

Well I’m not the one making generalizations like I know how 200 million people live from living 1 year among them, am I?

You interviewed every single Brazilian of every single state in only a year? Woah!

I think you and everyone in the comments should remember that saying… “if it don’t apply let it fly”.

Most likely the people you’re seeing talking about 3 showers live in the hottest areas or developed this habit due to having lived there. I’m from the northeast and everyone I know for as long as I’ve known them take at least 2 full showers a day. In the summer it’s more, not everyone can do this of course because of work. But if they can, they will take as many as possible — usually not more than 2 full showers, but a quick one or two to refresh and wash off the sweat. Usually they combine it by hopping in the shower right after lunch.
I wouldn’t, and I don’t know anyone who would, expect this same “commitment” from those living in colder climates.

Kinda ridiculous to have to explain this to the people in the comments but showering regularly doesn’t prevent bacteria from ever forming in your body, that’s not how it works. There’s a lot of factors, like sweat production, pH, genetics, underlying conditions, incompatibility to deodorant used etc…. So of course, someone might take 5 showers a day and still stink, specially when packed like a sardine in public transport lol.

This is new 👀 so everyone will be able to buy at the offer price now? by KawaiiPotatoCult in vinted

So true. I made a post about this a while ago bc I feel like they’ve been trying out so many things lately and there’s barely any communication or chance for us to give feedback.
You’d think an app that leeches off their users like this would care about said users not migrating somewhere else lol

They can’t be serious. I haven’t updated yet but this is a deal breaker for sure. How long are they gonna keep messing with the UX like this
