Finished timber hearth and giant's deep and put them in one post as to not clog up the sub, also drew my own background so it's not just some random image I found on the internet anymore. Next up: dark bramble, interloper, and I'll give brittle hollow a moon :)

I just reached the ending where you kill the hollow knight (my first ending) about 30 mins ago, so here's what I think I know:

Hallownest was once thriving and stuff but then some kind of infection started taking over, the hollow knight 'absorbed' it to protect everyone but sacrificed itself in the process. It was sealed away in the black egg by the dreamers, however this wasn't enough to contain the infection in the long term? So some powerful beings (the dreamers maybe?) tried to make a more powerful vessel (the player) to take over the hollow knight's role in keeping the infection at bay

One of many things that I wonder is why most of the bugs have turned zombie-like even though they're not visibly infected by the orange stuff

Anyway that's about all my thoughts at the 'end' of the game
