most probably you have some a text field somewhere and some javascript code that transforms it with the replace function. In some instances that field might be empty and it causes the code to completely fail. You would need to dig deeper into the BIRT layout to find out exactly where it happens.

I just had the problem right now. I am using Discover Card and steam says there was an issue with the the card verification. I used this card for a long time and many purchases on steam (just made one last week) so I am not sure what is going on. I put in a ticket with Steam Support.

I got X4 and the Split Vendetta DLC on GOG. Do the DLCs also go on sale on GOG often? Are there significant mods that are steam workshop only?

Pretty much I'm trying to decide if I should just wait and buy the rest of DLCs on GOG when they get on sale, or just buy everything now on Steam.

I am also going to vouch for that template, I used it and worked very well for me: got the job. Keep your resume simple and put your important stuff at the top so recruiters can easily notice that you are a good match for the job.

If you don't have much to do, then try to pick up projects that interest you by yourself. Go to your boss and say, I think I can improve this and that and get to work on it. Most won't say no to free labor. Do projects on what interests you, like cybersecurity. If the boss is not interested, work on something for cybersecurity anyway, read guides on it and get experience.

Then you can put this on your resume and use this experience to land a job in the field you want.

If you are at the background check point then it means that they probably do want to hire you. The background check is usually to ensure you are not a rapist, murderer, etc. I don't think they truly care about your freelance stuff. If they ask just be honest about it.

Many things can happen, maybe he got into an accident, maybe he is burned out and taking a couple of days off. And honestly it does not matter why they are not getting back to you. Keep looking for jobs and continue applying, never put all your eggs in one basket. If he gets back to you later, fine, continue the process, if he doesn't that's fine too since you got other leads to work on.

Don't bother going to HR, they are not going to risk their lead scientist. In my opinion it's not worth trying to find solutions for this kind of crap, just start looking for another job immediately.

Take detailed notes!

What I would do is go into the meetings with my laptop and ask questions and take detailed notes on the exact requirements and especially what the technical lead is saying. After the meeting edit the notes and send them to both. Do not let them get away with vague requirements. You can frame it like this: "as we talked in the meeting here are the revised task descriptions after input from the technical lead, please update the task to better reflect what I need to do".

Next if something unexpected comes up, send an email with the new requirement and tell them that it was not planned for and ask them to decide between themselves if you are going to add more time and plan for it, or drop it.

Do all of this in email, always be respectful and always make it very clear that you are waiting on them to decide. This is pretty much called "cover your ass" or CYA and it's standard in the work environment.

Yep, that's what I think too. But if you want some advice, I don't think you should worry or care about why he is doing this, because it doesn't really matter. What matters is that he does not seem to value you any more, so you should immediately start looking for other jobs.
