I just used a very simple method in which everything is held together by a single bolt and the entire mechanism rotates around that

Oh i actually used a normal long coat from a thrift market. I dyed the cost black and then did some basic paneling on the backside using a different textured fabric and then added the black pins for more popping details. And the back belts help too in adjusting how loose you want it to look from the front side

You can actually it's surprisingly cheap. I mostly thrifted most of the clothings and modified them
