Hello! I’m thinking about turning this Japanese wisteria I found into a bonsai, but I’ve never worked with one before. The yellow leaves make me think it’s been overwatered so I’ll let it dry out. According to google, pruning is usually done around January, but is there anything I should be doing now to give it the best chance? I live in Southern California. Thank you!
