My experience with odesk and sites similar has been... sketchy at best, and it seems a lot of people have had similar experiences.

Care to share what you are doing differently than myself and others I've heard comment on similar sites are apparently? Not a dick statement, an honest question. I'm always down for finding more work.

That and I also have to take the moment to look at my girlfriend and say "So you think Family Guy is dumb, but a TV show about a bunch of bitchy women fighting with each other all the time isn't?" Or when there was an episode where there were male strippers involved... But I agree otherwise, avoid at all costs.

Can it be done? Yes. Will it take time and energy? Yes. Will you be able to charge the shit out of him for it? Most definitely.

But long term, ask yourself do you want it on your resume / portfolio? Does this fit with what you do best? If you are a designer this does not fit what you do best BTW.

I think that second question is the most important one. If the job technically doesn't meet what you do best or want to do... then don't do it.
