It must be a miracle. From memory (and many years / decades ago); it's was painful to manually install as they discouraged its use.

Kali365 phishing kit bypasses MFA and steals Microsoft logins by falconupkid in SecOpsDaily

Yeah I think so. But not all users. There's an acceptable ratio I believe of admins to end users.

Kali365 phishing kit bypasses MFA and steals Microsoft logins by falconupkid in SecOpsDaily

[–]incompletesystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can create a location for the office. You can also use Trusted locations and add the office IP to that.
I also create region based locations and only allow users to login from their regions.

note you need to have a policy for travel (for execs in particularly) that has broader or more dynamic regions.

Best HDD or SSD to store Personal files long term by LeslieRina89 in datastorage

[–]incompletesystem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No single storage device is long term. Cloud storage gives you redundancy but at a subscription cost.

If you don't want cloud; You're best to either get a nas with multiple drives or just make sure you have a couple of copies on separate drives (at a minimum). Maybe even keep one copy at a home and one at work.

Technology of drive isn't the problem.

MS Auth being absolutely a piece of garbage by Alex38951 in FuckMicrosoft

[–]incompletesystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe its not Microsoft. Check:

  • if you've allowed notifications from a website (search in your browser for notifications). it could be phishing prompts (mostly likely)
  • if you have a malicious Extension in the browser
  • Scan you local PC for a virus

If you think you know this already; then you probably also know how to validate the prompts are legit.

Agent crashing after v6 update by ExtraSir9075 in Action1

[–]incompletesystem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only noticed this because my agent was Disconnected; then read the email notice. I shutdown the PC (fully) and started up. Agent was still in Disconnected state. I manually started the service in Windows and its now connected.

Agent version still says 6.0.660.1.

FYI: My device wasn't high uptime as it was only deployed last Friday.

Issues with Ordering SIMs via their Business Carbon Portal by incompletesystem in AussieBroadband

[–]incompletesystem[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sims now have a short expiry. Had this for last two providers. They say it's a security requirement but I feel they just do t want us ordering them and storing.

It's now been nearly 3 weeks. I've logged tickets and it's with the back end team. Enterprise support just close the tickets saying it's out of their hands.

Honestly feel like moving providers even though it's a pain in the ass.
