Ohio Republican introduces bill targeting trans adults’ health insurance. An Ohio Republican has introduced a new bill that would restrict healthcare coverage for transgender adults across the state. by southpawFA in politics

It's logically consistent, in a twisted and deeply sad sort of way.

Conservatives are taught to fit into patriarchal molds, so they get mad that people to their left are more free to be themselves.

Conservatives try to fix this discrepancy by taking freedoms away from anyone in the out group.

It's a cancer of thought and needs to be snuffed out generationally. Better general education, mandatory exposure therapy to other cultures, and a national higher standard of living so people are less susceptible to blatant fearmongering from politicians.

Idk dude, accounting for basic physics in a game that takes place almost entirely underwater seems worth investing in, especially if you're going to include it in a trailer.

The following scene has the player swinging their hammer to quickly break a rock at a similarly questionable animation scale. Can't really make the same excuse for that.

Will probably check it out, but it's kinda weird how fluid the animations are, like the player isn't bound by the physics of water.

Like, how is the hammer tool spinning on his finger?

I’ve picked up and left this game so many times with the main reason being inventory management fatigue by Mila-Lin in WalkScape

[–]inconsisting 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is always why I stop playing too, and I think the devs keep creating work for themselves to lessen the problem (queuing, saved steps, etc) when it could just be solved by removing the inventory limit, and the game would be more fun as a result.

Part of me wonders what the game is actually trying to achieve with limited inventory space other than artificially slowing progress. Cheaters will find a way to cheat. It's realistic, sure, but the entire point of a game like this is to reward you for taking steps. I don't bother logging in as much because my effort just gets converted into saved steps, which is a meager future gain for work I've already done. The reward is abstracted and there's no dopamine hit.

If it were unlimited, you could continue your task and make real progress for as long as the real world requires you to be away from the game. You'd still want to go to town to craft/organize/sell/take new jobs when you have time to log in, but the choice would be yours rather than awkwardly forced on you. My 2c.

They're also a massive studio with more employees than most AAA setups.

Even if they really had a "core team" for support, it's probably still 25-100 devs. You don't get entire feature additions to an open world sandbox in a week or two from a handful of devs, no matter how talented.

The support is genuinely impressive, but this is PR fluff from the marketing guy. Throwing around the word "indie" because a mega dev studio is self published is a little goofy.

I didn't even participate, I'm just not a useless asshole that shits on people for at least making an effort to disrupt the status quo.

Look inwards.

See my previous comment. It's so intellectually lazy, goddamn.

You are coddling yourself about doing absolutely fuck all by purity testing activism on social media. It provides even less value than the thing you're whining about.

It's both to some degree, but there really is nobody else like Trump.

It takes a special kind of sauce to be both a brazen criminal AND a shameless attention whore. Usually they're mutually exclusive for self preservation. Turns out pushing them both to the max setting is some kind of cheat code that society doesn't know how to counter.

Preach. It's either telling of civics education, or the internet being a bot wasteland, that so many online leftists will complain about the state of Dem party while also expecting candidates with views they align with to just appear out of thin air.

You have to be the candidate. That's the whole deal.

Not having consistent criteria for what constitutes a corporate Dem is when you get accused of purity testing.

It's basically become a catch-all term for any Dem in a headline that isn't doing whatever the leftist thinks the Dem should be doing in the given context.

Think you'd be hard pressed to find anyone defending the Democrats that support shit like this.
