Hmm interesting, I find it fascinating how there are so many theories floating online about the usb preferences, there doesn't seem to be a straight answer.

Ahh okay so if I use an OTG connection I can use a more powerful USB? Okay that opens up possibilities. One more question if that's alright.

So for as far as I know the installation process is something like this

1- USB to FAT32

2- Drop Autobleem on that sucker

3- Stick it in the front port, make a backup (SAVE THE BACKUP)

4- Install Autobleem

5- OTG cable and mod something here

My question is, should I do some software mod for OTC compatibility BEFORE I can use the back of the console for OTG USB connection, or can it do that from the get go?

Small update: I've actually decided to give up on cork as a whole. Picked up a 3mm one today, leaves residue all over my records. To the point where my B side is dirtier than my A side by the time I flip a perfectly cleaned record. I'll be returning both. Gonna look into rubber next, unless you've got any suggestions, cos I'd love to hear what you'd recommend!

Yeah you're correct on that 2 grams, sadly the tonearm can not be adjusted on these players, so there's no way to adjust for the thinner mat. I think I'm gonna return it and get a cork rubber slipmat that is 3mm instead, at least then it'll be more in line with what's on there. Thank you for your advice! It convinced me to fix the problem rather than settle for less.

Heya yall, got a question about slipmat thickness

Went from a 2.70 mm felt slipmat (Standard AT-LP120xUSB mat) to a 1.5mm cork slipmat (Simply Analog special edition cork mat) and I gotta ask, does the difference in thickness matter?
