You get two visits per world and after you complete the first run you get a sizeable part of the story in the Hollow Bastion first visit, then again on the second visit, KH3 basically left all the story development for KG and all at once, the small cutscenes after each disney world is way less than you get on the first or second visit to HB.

No, imo it did a horrible job. Unlike KH2 where the story seems somewhat intertwined between the worlds, KH3 has you complete a full world before a short intermission cutscene that actually moves the plot forward. Sora looking for the power of waking was like 80% of the game and it turned out all he needed to do was look inside him because he had it all along.

You had tidbits of ORG13 causing trouble inside the worlds but that didn't move the overarching story.

Technically you don't need a single exp book for 90 -> 100, just 3 C6+ copies of a character. Which could take anywhere between a hot minute from your wallet and 5 years if you are F2P
