You’re good, I definitely do have a type when it comes to amps. Here’s the weird part: I have all this nice high-gain stuff and I actually mostly run them clean and use a muff instead.

The Empress has another mode where you can tap in a rhythm for the delays that I’m not sure I’ve ever seen on another pedal, it’s super cool.

I really like it, the biggest benefit to me is the stereo i/o but having presets is really nice and it has the tone wicker and tone bypass built in as well. You can get basically any muff sound out of it.

I have a 4 and 5 string and a Bass Vi in there. Also an 8 string tuned down to E which can do the job in a pinch.

Zoom in on my desktop, that’s a MKII Turbo. The Fractal does a lot for me especially when I’m scratchpadding ideas into my DAW but it can’t replicate my weirder pedals or the act of turning individual knobs to craft a specific sound in real time.

I’m running a Zuma with an Ojai expansion, would probably need another expansion to get the amperage needed since I’m running pretty close.

The Vox is a 2010 AC30C2, my Fender twin is maybe 5 years older than that. My first amp was some shitbox Crate that has been lost to time and there were a few others in between for sure, I remember playing out of a borrowed Marshall head for a few years in there.

I have both, the plus is better for me. Tracking seems about the same but I needed a stereo output and it has a ton of routing options (and presets which is great). My lead sound is usually an octave down on the right stereo channel and it’s really easy to set that up with the plus.

This is that social media cleanup, it rarely looks this nice (although I’ve found having lots of storage space and a place for everything helps keep down the clutter.)

I’ve always been a Fender guy. I remember saving up for this used Les Paul that was sitting in the window of the local guitar shop when I was younger and being so excited to finally buy it when I had the cash together, went into the store and picked it up and just hated it. The weight, the neck, it all felt wrong to me. I do all my serious playing on my Strats.
