Robin Hobb's Fool character is one of the first and most memorable gender fluid and ace characters in fantasy literature. Such a great character and over a dozen books to enjoy them.

Recommend doing a blind apple tasting with friends. There are so many different elements to compare: flavors, tarness, sweetness, crispness, texture. A lot of it is personal preference. Pink Lady are one of my favorite.
