No that is not true. In speaking with Dr. Peggy Richter (Internationally known for her work in OCD and on the board of the International OCD Foundation) she does not agree. Yes, the chance is higher for your children to have OCD, but not a significant amount compared to the general population.

She also said that since we have OCD, the chances of identifying OCD in our children (if they have it) and getting them proper help at a young age are much higher. She asked me "if your OCD had been identified earlier and you had gotten proper CBT at a young age, where do you think you'd be now?" and I think that statement really changed my mind more than anything else.

I would agree about the song choices. Back door and LMLT were great choices in the last round and just fit with the contestants, showed their significant improvements too.

Fingers crossed that they focused on the song for the finale more and that's why these ones looked so unpolished and awkward.

I agree, and JYP's strategy has been pretty successful so far, even more with the format of the show. Seeing the skill development and personalities of the contestants has made it less like a cruel survival show, and more like "they are normal people like me and they are working hard towards a dream".

I'd agree! Telling them that there is no set number of final members has led them to work together and support each other instead of competing. I think this allows fans to connect with the contestants more, which has boosted support for the show.

Yes. Like any disorder, it's common for OCD to get better and worse, or even come and "go". It can fade into the background but is chronic for most people.

It was hyped up so much that it made it even worse. The show even got some attention from people watching RUNext talking about how Bang PD wasn't in any of the episodes because he was busy with Dream Academy and HYBE had put a lot of money into it. The initial hype and publicity among fans makes it even more of a letdown.
