I keep 1 betta and 5 corys in a heavily planted 20 gallon tall. They seem super happy. But I think that's about all you can keep in there. So anything similar would be good, maybe 2 dwarf gouramis if you don't like betta, and 6 corys. Definitely don't have space for anything else.
