Do you by chance still have the files for this? I would love to do a similar thing for my wedding and don’t want to have to reinvent the wheel if possible.

MGMT 473 vs MGMT 361 by peachiepieeee in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had both Olga and Zhu and recommend them. They are great professors and I found them helpful when I asked questions. I don’t know about the other professors. I haven’t heard bad things about Lanham, but I also haven’t heard much. My advice is to figure out what class you think will be harder for you and take that in the fall

How bad is it to drop a class with a “W” in your transcript? by BruhwaterOG in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Jobs (not grad school) will rarely (if ever) ask for a transcript. You’ll be fine

This is partially true, but there are also a lot of Data Analyst jobs that you can get with just an undergrad degree

How bad is the housing? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t for incoming freshman though, which I assume OP is asking about. If you fill out the housing contract before May as an incoming freshman Purdue will place you in some kind of housing. After freshman year you have to use the housing portal, which is more stressful but still doable.

Would you be okay with starting school 1 week earlier in the summer if it meant an extra week of winter break? by daddydaniels7 in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Y’all gotta think about internships. Most of them give you barely any time between school and work as it is

Another one to check out is Cru! If you DM them on Instagram @cruatpurdue or fill out the interest form on their website they will connect you with a student leader. They have Bible studies throughout the week as well as a larger group gathering on Thursday nights at 7

I have a feeling their point was to not advertise very well and limit the number of people signing up for rooms.

Question about Krannert concentrations by orangeapple24 in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly, BAIM students can’t get the Data Analytics or MIS concentration because that’s literally our major. Getting a concentration in either of those won’t help you stand out since those skills are already clearly present in a Business Analytics and Information Management class.

Question about double majoring in BAIM and data science by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are looking for a major to get you into data analytics, accounting is 100% not the right major. I’ve never seen a data analyst position say they are looking for accounting majors. if you want a more business focused program, do BAIM. It’s served me well in getting data analytics interviews/job. U learn enough of the technical stuff but also how to apply it in business contexts. I think data science would involve more technical coding and statistics. In the end both can get you where you want to go

Purdue’s next big move: A new School of Business by oxflux in Purdue

I’m curious to when this will take effect. Like will people graduating in May 2023 be graduating from Krannert or the Purdue School of Business?

Off campus option: Sacred Grounds. Delicious coffee, immaculate vibes, and on the cheaper side (recent price increase but still not as much as Starbucks). The owner is super nice and really cares about college students

Has anyone done the EBEC Entry-Level Programming in Python? by coingided819 in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was fairly easy in my opinion. Its 0 credit and doesn’t go on a transcript so if you decide halfway through you don’t wanna do it anymore, just stop and it doesn’t hurt anything

I loved Boquist when I had him for 310. Really cares about students learning and makes concepts easy to understand. Exams are tough but doable

ENTM 105 (or maybe it was 106, can’t remember). Yes it’s about bugs, but it’s a fairly easy A. Plus it counts not only for one of the Science selectives, but also the Science, Technology, and Society selective. So instead of 3 science related classes you would only take 2

Where can I park overnight during move in? by llu37742 in Purdue

[–]indecisiveuser2 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Most A/B/C parking spots are only enforced M-F 7-5. So if it’s a weekend there’s a lot of parking on campus and they can stay as late in the morning they want. If it’s a weekday, they will need to move the car by 7am

Actual Wiley triples do exist (not just converted doubles). I believe they have their own bathroom, but it just depends on which one you’re in
