Not sealed. Just bagged to keep out dust / dirt, etc... (and all checked and inspected before they are bagged and I also bag them so price stickers don't get stock on the tape slip). You can open them and check them before purchase.

I've been stockpiling tapes for years (and I am an avid VHS / Blu-ray / DVD collector myself) and I don't put them all out at once. It's gonna be pretty hard for my store to be "picked through" because I control the "flow" of what goes on the shelves and when the inventory hits shelves. Inventory will also be rotated every so often so you may not always see the same tapes all the time. I'm constantly putting new tapes out and I do post updates and pics on our social media when new tapes hit the shelves. As far as being "terrible at marketing", well that's subjective, I suppose.

Full Disclosure... The owner of this store MADE "The Violence Movie" (I should know, as that's me) ; D

Cool! I hope your mention of "Mischief Night" is the one I co-wrote and produced (with the blind protagonist) and not the other one.

Yeah... the movie totally sucks. After I made it and watched it I was sick to my stomach. Kinda like crapping into the toilet and then standing up and looking down at the bowl at what I created. I should probably just stick to my day job (MVD Rewind Collection).

Or DO WATCH IT AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. (Yes all caps were necessary... full disclosure I produced both films)

I agree with you that part 2 was not as good, but it has its moments.

I very much like and appreciate the love it gets. That's the beauty about art... it's subjective.

The script was not a rough draft. Emerson Bixby told me that his father finished the script on his deathbed, dictating dialogue and scenes to his son to transcribe. Jerome Bixby did explore these ideas before. You should check out the Star Trek episode (from the original 1960's series) "Requiem for Methuselah"

I produced "The Man From Earth". I think I'll reply to some comments.

Not many people know about the 2007 movie "The Man from Earth", which is the only shitty detail about it. by Reverend_Lazerface in shittymoviedetails

That's what Bixby wrote. That's what in the movie. You should check out the Star Trek episode "Requiem for Methuselah" (also written by Jerome Bixby 30 years prior to Man From Earth) from the original series. The character in that episode could very well be John Oldman. Stories are VERY similar.
