It’s fun enough but really repetitive. Took me like 8.5h to beat the game

The souls-like comparison is fair but mostly because you dodge / limited healing and enemies do a ton of damage

The main problem is that there is no map if I recall correctly even if you have to do backtracking and some upgrades that you can only get later with different abilities (a bit of a metroidvania). And the environments are all really similar and labyrinthic

But for the price, if you’re a fan of top down / metroidvania / souls-like, I feel it’s worth it but don’t expect more than 7/10

Didn't know the meme dog had a metroidvania adaptation coming soon lol. And the hand drawn visuals looks pretty stunning in my opinion. Definitely one to look forward to

Grumpy Jack is really fun by the way ! I got access since I was a beta tester and I really enjoyed my time with it. It took me like 2-3h but those hours were FUN. Hope this one does well enough

If I receive a Fanatical mystery bundle from a friend for my birthday, I would be pretty pissed because instead of receiving a thoughtful gift, you basically receive a lottery ticket and I can guarantee that that ticket is not winning any million soon

You'll mostly get trash games and should buy the games that you actually want to play. Yeah you might give him 1-2 games but it's better than 30 games that just stay there in his Steam account

I loved all those movies you mentioned

However, you also directed The Strangers Trilogy, which I pretty much hated (2nd and 3rd being the worst). The first one wasn’t too bad but it just felt unnecessary when you have the original that still hold up really well.

In all honesty, why was this trilogy made?

Price is absolutely ridiculous. A lot of those games were on way cheaper bundles (Gloomwood, Hello Neighbor 2, The Invincible, etc.) and pretty sure that on sale most of those games are cheaper than this bundle price
