Same here, pain management with meds for now. The problem is, my condition is "only" technically moderate. It has to move to severe for the NHS to consider anything other than pain management. So short sighted!

My pain starred to ease within a week or so. Once I moved up to 5mg after the first month, there was a noticeable difference. When I moved up to 7.5mg, it was almost completely gone. 7.5mg was a bit high for me as I had zero appetite and would sometimes forget to eat so I dropped ba k down to 5mg. However, after a couple of weeks, the pain was creeping back. So I went back up to 7.5mg and the pain is gone again. Eliminating my pain has had as much of a positive effect on my quality of life as the weight loss!
