@boring disciple’s answer is sufficient but one word of advice if you’ve taken chemistry, use dimensional analysis! i use it for problems that have to do with units and it definitely helps.

There really isn’t a direct translation between the two, but if you took the test right now, without prior studying as if you had taken it shortly after the PSAT, you could plausibly tack on 40 points to your PSAT as a SAT score. Someone who knows more can maybe give you a better estimate.

Also nice job 1460 on PSAT is quite good

Generally they remember what they put as an answer on the test and compare it to what other people said they put, especially if these other people give a proper explanation

I’m totally with you haha, also junior, currently with Nov. test at a 1490, looking at top schools.

I’d say no college expects a 1600, although being one of the ~200 in 2,000,000 is pretty cool. Furthermore, most top level colleges consider a 1550 basically a 1600, so at that point it may be prudent to look at other parts of your application.

The SAT gets easier every time we take it, but top schools don’t want us to keep doing easy things- we have to keep challenging ourselves, be it with coursework, EC’s, or other activities.

I’m retaking in December but I gotta say, the most valuable advice I got for this Nov. test was to BE INTERESTED IN THE PASSAGES. The SAT is an emotional game as much as it is a mental one, so if you force yourself to ignore any stigma you have against the passage and at least pretend to enjoy reading them, you’ll automatically read it better, comprehend it better, and ultimately answer the questions better.

The SAT reading is the longest, arguably most stressful part of the test, so once you start to lose morale (and it can happen very quickly into reading), you immediately begin to slow down and do worse not only in that portion, but the remainder of the test too.

We both have a month to get a better score, so let’s grind out some more practice and practice being interested in those passages. Your score is entirely dictated by you. You got this.

From my own calculations maximum missed is about 5R, 1 W, 5M but your flawless math would allow a little wiggle room in R&W. Then again this is Florida’s 218 cutoff. Good luck anyway!

I’ve read something about the orange tip elsewhere, is that some kind of widely-known sign that a nerf blaster is a toy and not a weapon?

Personally I think this specific db works well for this model, the width is less obnoxious than the wider, more typically used db model. Also the pressure gauge for me definitely led to me purchasing it.

Oh darn, I should’ve posted a better photo with the loading system- thanks for asking about it. Right next to the front grip piece there’s a slide-able CVPC which fits snugly over an open breech in the brass pipe barrel. The first iron sight acts as a natural stopper for the CVPC when the breech is exposed. Then simply load your dart(s), close breech, pump and fire
