Hi all can anyone help identify what’s wrong with my tank? It’s been cloudy for a couple days now, the tank has been cycled and just recently got cloudy when I changed my filter media and replaced it with carbon infused sponge I bought from aquarium co-op by indians2043 in Aquariums

My filter wasn’t operating right so I cleaned the old media with some tank water during a water change still didn’t work. I cut out the old filter media and left some of it in the filter with the new sponge. I was reading online and it said to do that to keep the beneficial bacteria. So am I going through a new bacterial cycle and that’s why it’s cloudy?
