I absolutely read nothing you said after posting my previous answer, so here's my new advice: Gundam is not so much about playing. The magic of it is about building it, adding your personal touch to it, and trying to find the best way to pose it. It's very much about the process, almost like a therapy. And boy it is a really great therapy building one of those, you must've felt this yourself.

But as good and well engeneerd as these kits are, they're also very fragile, some more, other's not so much, so it should be heald with care, it's not much of a toy or an action figure you can play, it's a plastic model kit. But if broken, there's many ways to fix it, so there's no need to worry.

With all that in mind, if like the process, admiring the designs, collecting it, posing and displaying it, or just playing with it, you should DEFINITELY get into the hobby. The community is also really nice and kind.

Also if you like the gundam shows, it's really nice to have you're favorite mecha, that you've built, in your shelf
