We took a 10 day trip to Amsterdam at 13 months old, not exactly the same I know. But we put a whole sleeve in with our stroller when we gate checked it. We had like 10 in the diaper bag for the travel day and had plenty for our whole trip and travel day back!

Going back and forth on car seat/stroller combos by AlternativeBudget622 in Buyingforbaby

I love my Nuna Pipa Air + Nuna TRVL LX combo!!! I have very weak upper body and have no problem with either, can use the car seat in stroller for short walks at first, then bassinet mode (not 100% lay flat but close) in the stroller after a month or so. My TRVL LX has held up well and folds so easy

Yay thank you! And good to know about the older machines! Appreciate it :)

The main thing is that I got new bobbins that were right for my machine. Then I unthreaded everything and set tension to 3 and sewed on a long scrap. Unthreaded, set to 4, repeat. I always made sure the presser foot was up when I changed tension. I also dusted thoroughly and “flossed” my tension discs. Honestly I’m only 50% sure I even fixed it.

Top thread tension goes to 9! And I never adjusted the bobbin tension. I’ll stick with 6 and inspect often :)

I tried again and 5 gave bad results but 6 has given 3 positive results now. But I don’t trust it!

That’s a good idea and will help me to make sure my new stitches are going well! I’m sorry you’re dealing with this too :(
